India, Mumbai: Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution business has won several contracts worth $354 million.
In Tanzania, the company has won an order for the construction of a 220 kV transmission project between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro. The company has also received two substation orders in northern region of Africa from reputed customers, the press release said.
In Thailand, L&T will be constructing a new 230 kV gas insulated substation which will cater to the customers in the Greater Bangkok area.
In India, the business has won EPC orders for building 132 kV substations and associated transmission lines in Jharkhand. Another turnkey order has been secured for the construction of 220 kV and 132 kV transmission lines in West Bengal.
