New substation commissioned in Delhi’s industrial hub

India, Delhi: Tata Power-DDL has commissioned a 66/11 kV GIS substation at the Delhi’s commercial and industrial hub Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar (SGTN).

The new substation has an installed capacity of 75 MVA, with three power transformers of 25 MVA each, and will benefit over 70,000 existing and new customers in and around SGTN area, the company said in a statement.

The substation was jointly inaugurated by representatives of Siemens Ltd. and Tata Power –DDL.
